This is the roofing company to use. They replaced my roof and the next day the owner came by to see how everything was. He pointed out a spot that he thought would look better by putting a piece of white trim instead of a black piece. They back out really quick and replaced it. Shrum's Roofing (Barry) came by and asked if we wanted our roof inspected. Conducted a quick thorough inspection on the day we requested which our insurance company validated (our insurance company was not as quick). They told me it could possibly take about two weeks to complete on a Friday, and to our surprise they had a completely professional crew that came the following Monday morning. The owner personally called and apologized for them showing up so early unannounced to which we quickly thanked him. I encourage anyone to accept their free inspection and quote, it may save you a great deal of frustration when you least expect it.

Metal Roofing

Metal Roofs are known for their toughness and longevity. They typically survive the duration of any housing structure. A metal roof is extremely lightweight which makes them easy to install.

Shingles

Shingles create a watertight, wind-resistant seal that protects your roof from environmental damage. They are available in asphalt, metal, wood, clay, and slate varieties. We frequently install GAF HDZ shingles because they are higher quality shingles that can last up to 50 years. We are also master installers for GAF.

Standing Seam Metal Roofing

Standing seam metal roofing is the highest quality roofing system available and can be used at residential or commercial properties. This system uses a thicker metal at a 24/26 gauge. There are no exposed fasteners with this product. The roofing panels are attached to the roof deck with clamps, which means these roofs do not have any holes from nails or other fasteners which could allow moisture to seep through. The biggest reason to use Shrum’s Roofing for your standing seam metal roof is that we have our own panel machine in our office. This durable, customizable product can be made right in our shop!
